E-Moves 14

The annual Harlem dance festival highlights nine alumni choreographers in teams of three to create dances inspired by the theme of "looking back." The trios are Nia Love, Germaul Barnes and Maurice Chestnut; Marguerite Hemmings, Nathan Trice and Hattie Mae Williams; and Adia Whitaker, Satoshi Haga and Nelida Tirado. On Apr 20, the alumni, in turn, curate "Harlem Stage Takeover," a program of new works by nine emerging choreographers.
