Parker's dance-theater piece, directed by Tamilla Woodard (3/Fifths), addresses sexism, racism and survival through interwoven stories of real stories of women she has interviewed, including her grandmother. Set to tunes by female singers, the choreography mixes modern dance with jazz and ballet.
