Kyle Marshall Choreography

The inaugural partnership between the Joyce Theater and Chelsea Factory continues with this showcase of works by the Black, queer choreographer and dancer Kyle Marshall. The program includes Stellar, Rise, I&I and an excerpt from Joan, which filters the story of teenage rabble-rouser Jeanne d’Arc through the histories of anticolonial revolutionaries around the world. Joining Marshall are performers Bree Breeden, José Lapaz-Rodriguez, Taína Lyons, David Lee Parker and Ariana Speight.
