Live Ideas: AI—Are You Brave Enough for The Brave New World?

The 2019 Live Ideas festival is devoted to questions of artifical intelligence. The centerpiece is discrete figures 2019 (May 8–11), created by Rhizomatiks x Elevenplay x Kyle McDonald, in which dancers interact with drones and other cybertechnology. Also on the diverse agenda are one-off performances, pop-up vocal experiments, panel discussions, robotics workshops, a symposium and a two-day "hack-art-thon" aimed at using art and AI to destigmatize mental illness.
