Forté-Saunders investigates blackness, maleness and "womb-ness" in a performance installation that draws from her father's life, interviews with black men and writings by Carlos Castenadas and Virginia Hamilton. Her collaborators include media designer Meena Murugesan and Tony-winning set designer Mimi Lien.
