Matthew Bourne

Bourne's Sleeping Beauty—the final episode in his trio of works set to Tchaikovsky—arrives in New York. His take on the story has Aurora falling in love with the royal gamekeeper, and features the Count Lilac and the Dark Fairy Carabosse as primary forces of good and evil.
