For its inaugural September season, New York City Ballet continues its engagement featuring Peter Martins's The Magic Flute and Alexei Ratmansky's Namouna, a Grand Divertissement; on Oct 7, the company presents a fall gala featuring a new work by Benjamin Millepied and the season's only showing of George Balanchine's Western Symphony. As for the nondance events, the theater's lobbies, gift shops and concessions will be open one hour before showtime.
