NYCB leaps back to Lincoln Center with a six-week slate that includes multiple dances by two of the great choreographers of the 20th century, company cofounders George Balanchine and Jerome Robbins. Among the other offerings in the varied season are world premieres by Pam Tanowitz and Silas Farley; recent works by Justin Peck and Jamar Roberts; a two-week Stravinsky Festival comprising four different programs of works set to music the Russian composer (May 3–15); and, for the final stretch, Balanchine's full-length forest romp A Midsummer Night's Dream (May 21–29). Visit the City Ballet website for a full schedule of events. 

New York City Ballet's current roster of principal dancers includes Jared Angle, Tyler Angle, Harrison Ball, Ashley Bouder, Adrian Danchig-Waring, Megan Fairchild, Jovani Furlan, Gonzalo Garcia, Joseph Gordon, Anthony Huxley, Sterling Hyltin, Russell Janzen, Sara Mearns, Tiler Peck, Unity Phelan, Amar Ramasar, Teresa Reichlen, Taylor Stanley, Daniel Ulbricht, Andrew Veyette, Peter Walker and Indiana Woodward. Ramasar departs the company in a farewell performance on May 29.
