New York International Ballet Competition

This event pays tribute to Ilona Copen, the founder and executive director emerita of the New York International Ballet Competition.The evening includes the presentation of the Ilona Copen Award—by Virigina Johnson—to Jean-Pierre Bonnefoux and Patricia McBride, as well as performances by dancers from American Ballet Theatre, Dance Theatre of Harlem Ensemble, Limon Dance Company, New Jersey Ballet, Joffrey Ballet and North Carolina Dance Theatre.
