Former American Ballet Theatre soloist Ekaterina Shchelkanova started this worthy foundation, which teaches Russian orphan children how to dance. Special guest performers include pianist Alexander Izbitser along with the Children of Orphanage #46 from St. Petersburg, Russia. The benefit program also features Joaquin De Luz performing David Fernandez’s Five Variations on a Theme; Veronika Part, Ask la Cour and dancers from ABT’s Studio Company in new choreography by Susan Jaffe; and Carlos Molina in a new pas de deux, Jeu d’Amour, with Vilia Putrius.
