Paul Taylor American Modern Dance

Perhaps the last living modern-dance legend of the 20th century, Taylor is still going strong at 87. In this engagement, his company performs the world premiere of the choreographer's 147th piece, Concertiana, as well as brand-new works by Doug Varone and Bryan Arias. Other offerings during the run include a tribute to Isadora Duncan (starring New York City Ballet principal Sara Mearns) and Continuum, a commissioned piece by Lila York set to Vivaldi's The Four Seasons. Three works are featured at each performance, in assorted configurations.
