Time Out says

Does it seem like everybody you know is facing layoffs, incredible job stress, or unemployment woes right now? There should be a place to go where all your job-related steam can be blown off, right? Luckily, Self Over Should is hosting "Rage Against the Routine: A Burned Out Dance Party" in Dumbo at the Sound Mind Center for this exact reason.

On August 12, Rage Against the Routine offers three hours of throwback jams and anonymous resignation letter writing that will get you home with enough time to get a good night's rest for whatever that next day brings. Tickets are $35, but because Self Over Should understands the state of this job market, there are a limited number of free tickets available for unemployed folks.

Self Over Should is the brainchild of Emily Pantel, which has grown to be "career coaching and astrology that helps overworked professionals build authentic careers by challenging what it means and takes to be successful," according to a press release about the event. Not only do you get to experience this dance party with your ticket, but you're also automatically entered into a raffle for professional support services, including 1:1 sessions from a roster of career coaches that challenge the status quo.
