Sankofa Danzafro: Accommodating Lie

The Colombian dance company combines Afro-Colombian and contemporary choreography with live singing and music in a sequence of solos and duets that deconstruct the racist, debased and/or exotic images assigned to Black bodies by colonialist culture. Seven dancers perform this full-length work by Rafael Palacios.
