Ishmael Houston-Jones kicks off Platform 2012: "Parallels" with an artist talk at the Studio Museum in Harlem. Houston-Jones, who organized a series at Danspace Project in 1982—also called "Parallels"—focuses on a new generation of African-American artists in his ambitious eight-week program. Tonight he discusses his career with visual artist Wangechi Mutu.
