Voices of Strength: Contemporary Dance & Theater by Women from Africa

MAPP International Productions organizes a tour in partnership with the Africa Contemporary Arts Consortium that showcases the talents of five female African choreographers: Nadia Beugré (Côte d'Ivoire) and Nelisiwe Xaba (South Africa), Bouchra Ouizguen (Morocco), Maria Helena Pinto (Mozambique) and Kettly Noël (Haiti/Mali). These artists use traditional and contemporary movement to explore the struggle of female empowerment.
