Storied ’90s pop fanzine chickfactor celebrates its 20th anniversary with a four-day party starring quintessential bands of the genre, many of which have not played in years. On Monday and Tuesday you'll hear from reunited D.C. shoegaze pioneers Black Tambourine, who released one of the best breakup songs of all time, "For Ex-Lovers Only." Seminal Providence twee poppers Small Factory also play Tuesday. Wednesday features the Aislers Set and English folkie Bridget St. John. And Thursday brings Belle & Sebastian lead guitarist Stevie Jackson stepping out solo, as well as chickfactor cofounder Pam Berry's British folk duo the Pines in its U.S. debut appearance. Expect special guests all along the way.
Tue and Wed sold out; Mon, Thu $25; three-day pass $70
