Battle Royale + Tetsuo, the Iron Man

Here's a violent double feature for you: First up, the mighty Kinji Fukasaku’s last completed film, which stars “Beat” Takeshi Kitano in a grim tale about sadistic class experiments designed to illustrate “survival of the fittest” on a remote island. The second half of the bill is Shin'ya Tsukamoto's revenge thriller about a metal fetishist who slowly becomes a destructive iron man (minus the Downey quips). This is a free screening.
