In 1979, a group of grade-schoolers decided to put on a Broadway production of Anton Chekhov's Uncle Vanya (directed by none other than the celebrated essayist Phillip Lopate). Lopate, the filmmaker and some of the now-grown players will participate in a postscreening Q&A.
