Cheyenne Autumn

Ford’s final Western—apparently an attempt to atone for years of depicting Indians as bloodthirsty savages—tells the story of the Cheyenne tribe’s trek homeward following a forced relocation. It’s not a classic by any means, but it was shot in Super Panavision 70, so see it on the big screen or don’t bother with it at all.
