A nonnarrative film compiling decayed/warped film footage, accompanied by a minimalist soundtrack, Bill Morrison’s metatribute to time and celluloid falls somewhere between the avant-garde vision of Ken Jacobs and the New Age touchy-feeliness of Godfrey Reggio. Still, it’s a mesmerizing experience once you get on the movie’s level. The feature screens with Reynold Reynolds and Patrick Jolley’s “Burn” (2002) and Glenda Wharton’s “The Zo” (2009).
