Divine Horsemen: The Living Gods of Haiti

Deren’s opus (finished by Ito) was culled from six hours of film shot in Haiti during the late 1940s. It's one of the few existing documents of the country’s voodoo rituals. Director Olivia Wyatt (Staring Into the Sun) will introduce the screening and present a sneak preview of her own voodoo documentary, Religious Tourism: Haiti Pilgrimages.
