Frankenweenie

As in Burton's live-action predecessor from 1984, this 3-D stop-motion-animated redo tells the story of introverted suburban kid Victor Frankenstein, who harnesses some inclement weather to bring his dead dog, Sparky, back to life. Burton’s visual imagination runs wild, but he's unable to deepen the superficial allure of his visions.
