Ironically, this initial crossover bid for John Woo may be one of the Hong Kong director's least satisfying movies, but it's probably Jean-Claude Van Damme's best: The mullet-haired star plays a Louisiana shitkicker who punches snakes (!) and Lance Henriksen with equal gusto.
