Life Begins Tomorrow

What will life be like in the 21st century? A moot point now, but in 1949, Vedrès decided to ask several artists and philosophers (André Labarthe, Jean-Paul Sartre, Pablo Picasso) their thoughts and film them for posterity. Also on the bill is Alice Guy Blaché's five-minute short "First Class Midwife" (1902). Documentarian D.A. Pennebaker will introduce the 7pm screening.
