Little Big Man

Dustin Hoffman’s performance as 121-year-old Jack Crabb is an inspired feat of makeup and mimicry, but the flashbacks to the character’s youth tend to be rather bluntly satirical (Vietnam parallels abound), and this Penn feature is oh-so-loooooooong.
