Mississippi Mermaid

Truffaut’s Hitchcock-like (or rather, Hitchcock-lite) adaptation of Cornell Woolrich’s novel features Jean-Paul Belmondo, Catherine Deneuve, suspense and some cunning plot twists. No sea creatures, mind you, but there are still a few thrills here.
