On Friday, September 14, Cinema 16, an ongoing project that commissions musicians to play new scores during screenings of rare 16-millimenter films, holds its last event of the year. (Music for past ones have come from members of Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Oneida.) For its final ’12 program, ARP (musician Alexis Georgopoulos) pens and performs scores for shorts by the likes of Charles and Ray Eames, Robert Breer and Bruce Conner. Get a taste of the sure-to-be-trippy affair with the video above.
