No film has used Warren Beatty’s reputation as a ladies’ man better than Ashby’s scathing satire of sexual mores, with the pretty boy playing a randy (and hetero!) hairdresser in Beverly Hills. Costar Lee Grant took home an Oscar (for Best Supporting Actress).
