Marital strife gets even messier for a small-town South Carolinian when her horndog husband is infected by a carnivorous extraterrestrial gastropod. Psychosexual horror, body-image anxiety, pregnancy paranoia and acid-spitting zombies make this derivative, but surprisingly clever, gross-out shocker a fun feast for the ghoulishly inclined.
