Solar-Powered Film Series: Films that Move

Dance Films Association and Solar One sponsor the second year of this film series. The first evening, on Sept 13—"Water"—includes five short dance films that were screened at the World Financial Center's Big TV in June. On Sept 14, "The Dancer Films" is inspired by the cartoons of Jules Feiffer and stars Andrea Weber, formerly of the Merce Cunningham Dance Company. And on Sept 15, the series concludes with "Moviehouse," featuring The Other (manque á être), with the choreography of Mayuna Shimizu in a combination of video and live performance.
