Storm Over Asia (The Heir of Genghis Khan)

When we hear sweeping Soviet epic, we get all giddy and clear our calendar. Then we realize it’s a propagandistic piece about the Mongolian uprising, and we think, Hmm, maybe we can pass on this. Until we read that it’s one of the great Russian director Vsevold Pudovkin’s best works, and we say no way are we missing this. No way!
