The Bitter Tears of Petra von Kant

Newbies may prefer a less concentrated introduction to Fassbinder’s catty excoriations of class and power. But for those already there, this lesbian psychodrama—two fashionistas thrashing it out in a shag-carpeted apartment—is tops. The screening, the latest in IFC's "Queer/Art/Film" series, will be introduced by choreographer Jack Ferver.
