Night one (Thu 10) features a screening of Neil Rosenbaum's Sing My Troubles By (2010), a documentary about older women in Georgia who love singing gospel and blues music. Night two (Fri 11) is a program of shorts by John Cohen: "The End of an Old Song" (1973), "Gypsies Sing Long Ballads" (1982) and "The Ballad and the Source" (1983). Prescreening festivities (an art show, music performances) begin at 6pm; the movies start at 9pm and 8:45pm, respectively. There are sliding scale donations of $9–$20, depending on how many events you attend.
