The Documentary Expands

Merian C. Cooper and Ernest B. Schoedsack's Grass: A Nation’s Battle for Life (1925), about the annual migration of 50,000 Iranian tribesmen in search of grasslands, is the main highlight of this program. Also on the bill are two Joris Ivens shorts, "The Bridge" (1929) and "Rain" (1929).
