The Mad Genius + Alias the Doctor

Two films by Michael Curtiz make up this program: The first stars John Barrymore as a crippled puppeteer who kidnaps a boy and trains him for the ballet, with some Grand Guignol results. The second feature stars Richard Barthelmess as a surgeon who assumes his evil brother's identity for the greater good.
