Jerome Kern had such an interesting life! Uh, sarcasm. The only reason to see this deathly dull biopic would be for Garland's musical number among ridiculously high stacks of dishes, and for the unintentionally jaw-dropping sight of Frank Sinatra crooning "Ol' Man River."
