Vivacious Lady

“Don’t call me Mrs. Astaire!” Rogers gets to show off her comic chops in this breezy vehicle about a couple who can’t seem to consummate their marriage due to constant interruptions. Her usual fleet-footed male costar isn’t around for this one, so you’ll have to make do with some guy named Jimmy Stewart. Also on the bill is D-Day to Berlin (1994): Made for TV by Stevens Jr., this documentary assembles a trove of extremely rare color battle footage, shot in the European theater by Stevens Sr.
