The homage to ’30s comedies by everyone’s favorite ascot-wearing director has, oddly enough, now become a fossilized relic of its own (ah, those hairdos and fashions!). But Ryan O’Neal and ol’ Babs Streisand’s chemistry and a few choice comic moments still elicit a giggle or three.
