Ziegfeld Follies

A who’s who of crooners, hoofers, living legends and vaudeville all-stars show up in this surprisingly lackluster revue, based on Ol’ Flo’s shows of yesteryear. Garland does a starlet-spoofing number originally intended for Greer Garson. And you should see Vincente Minnelli’s number, “The Babbitt and the Bromide”—the only musical number featuring Fred Astaire and Gene Kelly dancing together during their mutual heydays.
