Adventures in the Global Kitchen: Global Inspiration: American Foods, Indian Flavors

Take a gastronomical trek across the globe with Bravo’s season-three Top Chef Masters Floyd Cardoz (North End Grill). In the Linder Theater, the toque will demonstrate how he blends traditional Indian flavors into Western fare. Following a tasting of four spiced bites—including braised short ribs and pumpkin-crab soup—take home a signed copy of his cookbook, One Spice, Two Spice. Bonus: Early attendees can stop by “Our Global Kitchen: Food, Nature, Culture,” the latest AMNH exhibition centering on historical cultures and cooking, from 5:45 to 6:15pm.
