It's the war of the worts at this seventh annual home-brew showdown, hosted by Brooklyn Homebrew and Sycamore Flower Shop and Bar. Thirty amateur brewers will go keg to keg to win over the public and judges for a $1,000 cash prize. The judges' panel includes TONY contributor Joshua M. Bernstein, Chris Cuzme from 508 Gastrobrewery and Beer Table's Justin Philips. Along with the homemade lagers and ales, find selections from pros like Sixpoint, Kelso and Brooklyn Brewery, and Italian subs from Zito’s Sandwich Shoppe. While sipping, enjoy a live hip-hop set from DJ Slim Hug or catch opening-day NFL games broadcast on a pair of projector screens.
