Chowder Fest and Clambake

Follow the clamshells and sand-covered sidewalk to Beacon's indoor clambake. On arrival, you'll schmooze and slurp unlimited pours of Brooklyn Pilsner and vodka-spiked pink lemonade while sampling four traditional and nouveau chowders, including New England clam and Manhattan varieties. Then sit family-style at the newspaper-lined tables—equipped with loaded water guns and beach balls—and dig into a four-course spread of oysters, clams, corn and miniature chocolate whoopie pies.
