At this edition of the City Grit supper club, curator Sarah Simmons will prepare a six-course Chinese feast inspired by Feeding the Dragon—a new cookbook-cum-travel-guide by sibling blogger team Nate and Mary Kate Tate. The volume is filled with recipes—like Shanghai soup dumplings, kung pao chicken and pineapple rice—that the duo gathered as they backpacked more than 9,700 miles through China. Sample authentic dishes and hear them recount their adventures, then take home a gratis signed copy of the book.
