At this edition of City Grit’s communal dinner series, Top Chef Texas contestant Ty-Lör Boring returns to star in three nights of Kansas City BBQ fused with Asian street food. The multicourse menu features some of the dishes Boring is developing for his upcoming NYC Asian BBQ concept. Highlights include smoked-duck confit wings with pickled cucumber prik nam pla (a Thai chili and fish-sauce condiment) and black-cardamom–braised pork ribs served on toast with pickled vegetables. Pony up a few extra bucks for beer and wine ($5–$18).
