Cook Out NYC

Cook Out NYC teams up with Kimchipalooza for a second year to host a blowout grilling event. The two-day festival features top-notch pit masters and notable chefs—including Ian Kapitan (Alobar) and Jeremy Bearman (Rouge Tomate)—along with hot-dog and burger cook-offs and a kimchi-eating contest. Beer for the Governors Island bash is provided by Sixpoint, which will herald the return of its “Signal” Smoked Pale Ale and Sehr Crisp Pils in honor of July Good Beer Month. Proceeds benefit a number of nonprofits, such as Just Food’s Farm School and Kingsborough Community College.
