Explore Mexican cuisine of the 1930s at this lecture and tasting with MoMA curator Leah Dickerman, and Fonda chef-owner and cookbook author Roberto Santibañez (Truly Mexican). Dickerman will draw on her work with the “Diego Rivera: Murals for the Museum of Modern Art” exhibition to chat about the artist's life, work and travels, while Santibañez will discuss the historical development of Mexican cuisine. After the talk, sample some of the traditional dishes that Rivera might have dined on, paired with tequila cocktails.
