Prospect Park, Grand Army Plaza entrance, Brooklyn. Make like Bear Grylls in the (somewhat) serene environs of Prospect Park by foraging for wild food with botanist, gardener and author Leda Meredith (The Locavore’s Handbook). After Meredith identifies edible plants in the park such as wineberries and sassafras, you'll head to Beer Table and sample dishes, including red clover bread and wood sorrel soup. A special selection of suds will be available including the in-house Beer Table Table Beer (17oz glass $7).
