Gowanus Canal Conservancy Spring Forward

Indulge in a night of barbecue, beer and live tunes to raise funds for Brooklyn waterway clean-up projects. The $55 entrance fee gets you grub—primarily of the porcine variety, grilled by Kings County chefs from Applewood, Lot 2, Brooklyn Cured and Mile End—as well as two craft pours (additional beer $5) courtesy of Twelve Percent Imports and American Beer Distributors. Local musicians also lend their talents to the cause, with performances from Dawn Landes, the Jack Grace Band and Diamond Doves.
