Moroccan Market at Barbounia

Gramercy hosts a Moroccan souk this week. The Mediterranean-leaning eatery Barbounia will be filled with bright spices and flowers to set the scene for a special à la carte menu from chef Efraim Nahon, who will cook family-inspired recipes including house-made merguez lamb sausage ($12.50) and cornish-game-hen tagine with plums, raisins and spices ($24.50). Order a bottomless Moroccan mint tea ($4.50) and watch as boiling water is poured from a decorative pitcher into a glass stuffed with fresh mint and rock sugar.
