Sixpoint Beer Weekend

Fans of the Red Hook brewery are in for a big day on Sun 2. Join the annual Atlantic Antic pub crawl (noon–6pm; free) by hitting any of the eight participating bars: Hank's Saloon, Burger 282, Brazen Head, Waterfront, Colonie, Downtown Atlantic, Floyd and Last Exit. Along with Sweet Action, Bengali Tiger and other Sixpoint suds ($5), the bars will be pouring this year's Atlantic Antic Amber, which has been especially brewed for the event. If you'd prefer to stay in one place, settle in at Prime Meats' outdoor Oktoberfest celebration (Luquer St between Court and Smith Sts, Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn; noon–5pm; free). Down Sixpoint Pilsner and Autumnation ($6)—a new pumpkin ale made with fresh hops—alongside beer-friendly grub like schnitzel, sausages and sauerkraut ($2–$8), all while tapping your feet to live music by the Ja Ja Jas.
